Surprise your date with some flowers....
Valentines day is picking up in Europe also. And who wouldn't miss the train? Right, postal authorities....
The Austrian post services does so by releasing a special stamp full of flowers AND a smell of flowers tomorrow, on Valentine’s Day. In that way, the Austrian ‘AG’ has the leg of the Dutch post services. On April 2, they will release their ‘Summer stamps’ with a fine flower smell. Very suitable as the stamps show six different flowers against a background of the same number of places that can be visited during the international flower exposition Floriade 2002. The stamps appear on a ‘classic’ gummed sheet of ten 0,39 + 0,19 euro stamps (price : 5,80 euro) which will be printed at The House of Questa, England.
